Awesome food! Great bartenders! Live bands on Friday all thru the summer!
Wife and myself are new to the area and stopped in for a drink after dinner. Went to an open corner of the bar and waited for the bartender to come greet us. She came over and asked what we would like to have. When I asked what she had on tap she responded with a very snotty attitude, " We only have specialty beers". I told her that's what I like and asked her to tell me what they were since I could not read them from where I was. She acted completely annoyed that I asked her to do her job. She read them off facing away from me in a loud bar and I said I could not hear her but she ignored me after I told her I could not hear her. Luckily I heard one word "Porter" and said i will have that. The guy next to me had one and said it was good. After she served us she never returned and ignored us. Needless to say we left after one drink. We will not return here, there are plenty of other friendly bars with friendly bartenders in the area.

DO NOT go tubing! Unless you are an expert swimmer. My friends and I went tubing on Saturday, we explained to the lady we paid that I didn't swim and we where looking for a relaxing float. She said "No problem!" So away we went. When we got to the end to go in the water the boys there told us if we fall off in the rapids put our feet first and lay on our backs and just float down the river. So away we went, made it past the first rapids thinking that we were done with them. Well than came the second set of rapids that is when everything went HORRIBLY wrong! I got sucked out of my tube, my friends grabbed my tube and started yelling HANG ON!! I went under hit a rock with my back, then with the back of my head. I remember to get my feet out front and lay back to float. Hanging on to my tube I hit more rocks and it knocked me on my belly trying to get back on my back swallowing more water. After that I got thrown around like a rag doll. It finally stopped and my friends got me back in my tube. We floated down the river trying to find a way out. We stopped a man on a dock, he helped by throwing a rope and pulling us in. My life vest ended up just on my neck not arms anymore. My friends helped me get on the dock the man and his wife were SO nice. They let us use there phone to call 911. My friends all helped out. I went to the hospital I have cuts and pits in my legs where skin and muscle were. The EMT, the hospital staff, the man and lady and mostly my friends saved me. Today I am on my way to a orthopedic surgeon. PLEASE DO NOT GO TUBING HERE!!!! I'm lucky to be alive!
