I said "really I called on 2 different days and both times was told it is only 30$ per person!" (Also all the guests in my group were then getting highly annoyed and irritated before our day even started!)
I called June 24th to reserve rafts for 11-13 people on July 4th. I was told to call back on the 1st of July to give a more accurate # before hanging up I asked how much it would be the lady said 30$ per person.
I too work in customer service and this lady is by far the most rude person I've encountered. Not only did she not look at anything for my reservation that I took time out to call on to make sure I didn't have to deal with any mess she then had the audacity to charge everyone in my group 40$ per person! Half paid the 40$ and just walked away annoyed and the other half stated they only brought 30$ each so she then allowed the other half to pay the original 30$ each. After the first half heard they marched to the desk and asked for their 10$ each back which she gave to them. But myself (who paid for 2 people) the one who did the planning and inviting didn't bother to get my money she purposely over charged for back, instead I figured she obviously needed that for her pocket and id do a nice review on Google instead.
Honesty in a company will always bring paying costumers back!
She rudely says "well when did you call because I am not allowing single person rafts down the river." I told her I called only 3 days ago on the 1st. All she says is "well I'm absolutely not allowing that" I said "okay well that's fine I guess since we have no other option we will ride 3 in 1 raft." Then we all start Signing our waivers and the lady says okay 40$ per person.
No problem.
On July 4th I arrived with 11 people. We all go to the main desk to check in at 10:40am I tell the lady I reserved rafts for 11 people under Bell and without looking at any paper work for our reservation says "so 1 raft is riding 3 people in it." And I stated "no actually I called and the man working a few days ago gave us the okay to use 1 single person raft."
Best trip you could ask for!!! Staff was so helpful and kind. Gave us great tips and was always there when we needed them! Campground was very clean and quite during the weekdays. Water was warm and crystal clear! I will never camp anywhere else but here! Thanks ShotGun Eddy!!
Had a blast here, planning on going again for higher difficulty rapids! The staff seemed friendly enough and didn't have any issues with getting set up. The only issue we had was that I tried calling both of their numbers from their website but couldn't get through using either. This location prefers cash only, you can use a debit/credit card but they mentioned their machines are really slow. Easier to just bring cash for sure.
Very friendly staff, easy going, we could do pretty much anything we wanted to do, without any problems. Very fun, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great time for white water rafting, camping.
I called on the 1st of July asked if they were allowing single person rafts down the 4-5 hour trip the man said yes and to tell the lady at the 715 # that he gave me the okay... Called the 715 # right after and reserved 5 rafts and 1 single person raft for 11 people and asked just to make sure that the price is 30$ per person she said Yes!
All the lady says "well I don't know who told you that because it's 40$ per person"
Super fun, but the people that work there are really rude.
Also this was not our first time going rafting at shot gun eddies but it might be our last. The first time everything was beyond perfect and every staff member was friendly.. wish I could say the same about my experience yesterday.
